Intended for the high horsepower street/strip fan, the McLeod RST Street twin clutch kit is an economically priced twin disc clutch kit. This is a modular clutch design, they supply a steel adapter plate that is used as the new drive surface. This allows the clutch to bolt up to the factory flywheel, no need to resurface the OEM flywheel, the steel adapter plate is what the discs will ride against. Once you drop our modular clutch unit on the dowel pins and tighten the bolts the flywheel will only be used for its ring gear to start the car. Able to handle 800hp, this clutch can handle almost any horse-power you can throw at it and still remain street-able. Organic lined clutch discs will provide smooth engagement with a soft pedal effort to make this clutch kit ideal for the street performance enthusiast. This clutch kit is designed to be a high horsepower street clutch kit and is not designed to be used in a competition environment. Kit Includes: Pressure Plate, two organic friction discs, floater plate, steel adapter plate and pilot tool.
